So many times we think if we don’t have a block of time to work out that we shouldn’t bother. But the truth is that anything is better than nothing! It’s been proven that short workouts do work.
My schedule has changed recently and it’s been difficult for me to get into a routine. I get up at 4:30…or try to! Have my devotion time, workout and then leave my house by 6:15. I get off at 3:30 but have a 45 minute drive home. By the time I get home…I’m mush! Then I work on my blog and health coaching for about another hour, eat, sometimes I have calls I have to be on at night….then go to bed and start it all over again! When I’ve slept in, I thought to myself “Great…there goes my workout time!” but then I realized….’WHAT AM I DOING!!!!” I know better!! So, I’ve started doing what I can until I can figure out what’s going to work best. I do push ups, bicycle crunches and squats with shoulder presses in the morning. Push ups work the whole body, bicycle crunches work all your abdominal muscles and squats and shoulder presses….I just like ’em! LOL! Plus, I’ve started walking for 15 minutes at work on my break. Doesn’t sound like much, but it’s what I can do right now and it’s better than nothing. The key is to do SOMETHING!!!
So, don’t ever think….I don’t have time. You will always make time for what’s important and what’s more important than your health! Even if it’s just a few minutes, do something, be creative and have fun!
